Officium takes over Iwik Energiemanagement GmbH from Griesheim
Hamburg/Frankfurt/Munich, March 1, 2023: Officium GmbH, one of the leading, independent measurement and energy service providers for the consumption-based recording and billing of water and heat for the housing industry, has taken over Iwik Energiemanagement GmbH, a specialist in energy management and heating cost billing . Including the Hessian company, the portfolio company now has 12 investment companies.
Iwik Energy Management offers complete solutions for the consumption data collection of heat, cold, water and electricity in commercial properties from installation to billing. The service portfolio also includes the topics of energy monitoring (presentation of consumption and energy flows) and energy saving (sustainable reduction of energy costs). The company was spun off in 2010 from Iwik GmbH Griesheim, which was founded in 1995 and is a specialist in drive technology, measurement and control technology, low-voltage technology, industrial automation and digitalization. The first project was to fully equip Terminals 1 and 2 at Frankfurt Airport, before Iwik equipped and managed the entire airport. Together with the facility department of Flughafen Frankfurt AG, our own software for reading and evaluating the energy meters was also developed. Other prestigious buildings in Frankfurt followed later, such as the Main Tower, Messeturm, Westhafen Tower, Taunusturm, Opernturm, Omniturm and the Trianon Building.
